Shree Ram Pattern

We are Shree Ram Pattern, based out in Chikhlee over in Maidankar Wadi, which is part of Taluka Khed. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the space we have. The workshop is where we spend most of our hours, working on different patterns for casting. It’s a dusty job, and we usually end the day covered in it. The area around us is still developing, so sometimes the roads are a bit rough. We’ve got our equipment set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of big fans that move the air around when it gets too hot. We don't really do much advertising, people just seem to know we are here. Most of our day is spent standing at the benches or checking measurements. We use a lot of manual tools along with some basic machines. It’s a simple life out here in Khed. We have a small area where we sit to have our lunch, usually brought from home. The dogs from the neighborhood sometimes wander in looking for scraps. We just keep to ourselves and get the patterns finished. It’s steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof, but we just work through it.
