Shree Precision

We are over in the Bhosari MIDC area, specifically at unit B-5. If you know where the Philips company is, we are right across from them. Shree Precision is basically a machine shop. We deal with a lot of metal work and small parts. It’s noisy and there is usually the smell of cutting oil in the air, but that’s just how a workshop is. I spent most of my life working with lathes and milling machines before starting this place. We take on jobs for other factories around Pune. Sometimes it’s a big order of bolts, other times someone brings in a broken part that needs to be remade exactly. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking because even a tiny mistake means the part won't fit. We have a few steady workers who have been with me since the start. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find me on the floor or looking over some blueprints on a greasy desk. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when a client needs something urgently. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal is finished properly. The traffic in Bhosari can be a headache, especially with all the trucks, but being in the industrial belt is where we need to be for this kind of work.
