Shree Ganesh Engineering Works

Shree Ganesh Engineering Works is our small shop over on Dehu Alandi Road in Talwade. We are at Plot No. 320, right near the HP petrol pump, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This part of Pimpri-Chinchwad is very industrial, so there is always the sound of welding and grinding coming from somewhere. Our workshop is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings. We do various engineering jobs, mostly fixing things or making small parts for other businesses. It is just a regular workshop with some lathes and welding machines. The air smells like hot metal most of the time. We don't have a secretary or a waiting room; if you come to see us, you’ll find us right there on the shop floor with our sleeves rolled up. We’ve been here for years and have seen the road get busier and busier. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but mostly we just keep the machines running. It’s a lot of manual labor and we go home pretty tired at the end of the shift. We know the guys at the petrol pump and the other shop owners on this stretch of road. It’s a simple, hardworking life where we just focus on doing a decent job on whatever comes through the door.
