Shree Fabricators

You can find Shree Fabricators over at Pushkar in Indira Shankar Nagari. We are right near Shrti Mangal Karyalaya, which is a landmark most people in Kothrud know well. It’s a busy area near the Kothrud Depot, so there is always noise from the buses and the traffic on Paud Road. Our workshop is usually full of metal rods, sheets, and welding equipment. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the grinders are running. We spend our mornings cutting steel and fitting pieces together for gates or window grills. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually covered in grease or iron dust by noon. Sometimes we go out to sites to measure things up because you can’t just guess when it comes to a balcony railing or a security door. Everything has to line up just right or it won't bolt in. We have a few old machines that have been with us for years, and they still do the job better than some of the newer stuff. When it rains, we have to move everything inside quickly so the metal doesn't start getting spots. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the torch and the hammer. We don’t have a front office or anything like that. If you want to talk, you just come to the workshop floor and find us among the scraps. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work through the pile of orders.
