Shree Engineering

Over on Sinhagad Road, near the Nandidurga Main Road, you will find Shree Engineering at sr.no 134/1/4. We are an engineering shop that focuses on making parts and doing repairs for different types of machinery. The floor is made of thick concrete to handle the weight of the heavy lathes and milling machines we use. There is always a faint coating of oil on everything, and the sound of metal being cut is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We started this place because we liked working with our hands and seeing how things are put together. It is a lot of hard work, especially when we have a deadline for a custom part that needs to be just right. We wear heavy boots and blue shirts that usually have a few stains on them by lunch. The yard outside has some old metal scraps and a few stacks of raw steel waiting to be used. We don't have a fancy reception area; if you want to talk to us, you usually have to walk right into the workshop and find someone who isn't currently operating a machine. It’s a practical environment where getting the dimensions correct is more important than anything else. We take pride in the fact that the things we make actually work and last for a long time. It’s just us and the tools, day in and day out, making sure every piece is finished properly.
