You can find us at 8 Mula Road in Khadki. It’s a busy road and our shop is right in the thick of it. We do engineering work and insulation, so the place is always full of metal scraps and rolls of material. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. There is dust and grease on almost everything. We have been in this same spot for years and the building has some character, or at least that's what I tell people when they see the old walls. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people who have been coming to us for a decade or more. We spend our time at the workbench or using the lathe. My hands are rarely clean. We don't have air conditioning, so we just keep the shutters open and hope for a breeze from the road. It’s just a small group of us here. We don't have big meetings to talk about goals. We just look at the drawings people bring in and see if we can make them. Sometimes the traffic on Mula Road makes it hard to get materials delivered on time, which is frustrating. We have an old kettle in the corner for making coffee and that’s where we gather for a break. It’s just a regular local shop doing regular work for local people.
