Shobha Engineering Works

We are located at 40/4 in Vadgaon Sheri. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city, but the workshop gets noisy once we start the machines. Shobha Engineering Works is basically just a big room with lathes and welding gear. I started this place a long time ago. The floor is always covered in metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. It’s hard work, and your back usually aches by the end of the shift. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just come by because they heard about us from someone else. Sometimes it’s a small fix, other times it’s a big job that takes a week. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The light inside isn't great, so we have these big hanging bulbs. It gets pretty hot when the welding starts. We just do the engineering work that comes our way. There’s no big corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. We keep the ledger in a drawer and try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up. Vadgaon Sheri has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just show up, do the jobs, and go home. It’s a simple way to make a living, even if it’s a bit greasy and loud most of the time. We don't need much more than our tools and some steady work.
