Shivmurti Engineering

Shivmurti Engineering is over at 18/9 Pimpri Manik Chowk, which is right across from the Tata Motors Material Gate. Being so close to a big factory gate means there are always trucks passing by and a lot of noise. Our workshop is an industrial space where we do a lot of metalwork and fabrication. The floor is almost always covered in oil and metal scraps. We do not mind the mess because it shows we are actually working. We have lathes, welding machines, and a lot of heavy tools. It gets really hot in the summer, but we have some big fans to keep the air moving. We do not really have an office; it is just a desk in the corner with some old chairs for when we eat lunch. We do not wear suits or have meetings about strategy. We just look at the drawings, get the materials ready, and start cutting or welding. Most of our work comes from other local factories that need specific parts made quickly. We take pride in just getting the job done right without a lot of talking. Some of us have worked together for a long time, so we do not even have to say much to know what needs to be done next. It is just a regular engineering shop doing its bit every day.
