Shiv Engineering Works

Shiv Engineering Works is based at Manik Baug, using the plots 122/5-6-7 and 693/9. It’s a bit of a spread-out address because we’ve expanded slightly over the years. We are right in the middle of a neighborhood that has changed a lot since we first started. It used to be much quieter, but now there are more houses and shops all around us. We do general engineering stuff, fixing parts and making small components for bigger machines. Our workshop is full of lathes and drills that have been with us for a long time. They aren't the newest models, but they are reliable and we know their quirks. The floors are stained with oil, and there is always a bit of metal shavings near the machines. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most people just see the sign when they are driving through Manik Baug and stop in when they need something repaired. We have a small crew, and we all know how to do a bit of everything. On rainy days, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other speak, but we just keep working. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied. We don't have big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the parts we make are solid and done on time.
