Shital Engineering Works

Our shop is in the Pavana Industrial Premises, Gala No. B-11 and A-25, over on Plot No. T-204 in MIDC, Bhosari. It’s right in the heart of the industrial belt here in Pune. Shital Engineering Works is a place where there’s always something being machined. We have two separate galas, so we’re constantly moving between them to keep an eye on the different lathes and milling machines. It’s a busy environment, and the smell of cutting oil is pretty much everywhere. We don't have a big fancy office; just a small cabin where we keep the blue prints and the accounts. Most of the day is spent on the shop floor making sure the dimensions are correct. Finding good workers who really know their way around a machine is hard these days, but we have a small crew that sticks together. We don't go in for big marketing or anything like that. We just do the work and hope the quality speaks for itself. The MIDC area can be quite dusty and the traffic is a mess around shift change times, but it’s where we belong. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys in the neighboring units pretty well. It’s just honest, hard work from morning until the last machine is switched off for the night.
