Shilpa Engineering

Shilpa Engineering is located over at J-2 in the S-Block area right off Telco Road. This part of M.I.D.C. is always busy with trucks and people moving around between the different units. We mostly do machining and bits of fabrication work for whoever needs it. It gets loud in the workshop with all the lathes running at once, but that's just the way it is in this line of work. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we keep the machines covered up well. People around here know us for being practical and getting things done. We don't do much paperwork if we can help it, just enough to keep everything straight for the books. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a tool breaks or the power goes out, which happens more than you'd like in the industrial zone. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings and everyone is on the shop floor, it might take a minute to answer. Usually, customers just walk in through the side door to talk about their drawings. We make things out of metal and try to get the dimensions right the first time. It’s hard work and the grease never really comes off your hands. We just show up every morning and get through the list of orders we have.
