Sheetal Varieties is tucked away at 35 Versova, on Yari Road in the Pimpri Colony area. It’s a bit of an interesting location because Yari Road always has something going on. Our shop is a small place where we keep a bit of everything. We have been here for a good number of years now, and the locals in Pimpri Colony are like family to us. We sell things that people use in their homes every day. It might be a bucket, some thread, or just a notebook for a school kid. The shelves are quite tall, and sometimes we have to use a small stool to reach the items at the top. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it’s on high. The shop gets a nice breeze in the evening when the sun starts to go down. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town; we just want to be the place where you can find that one random thing you need. Our days are filled with stocking the shelves and talking to the people who live nearby. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We close up when the street lights come on and head home, just like everyone else. There's nothing complicated about what we do here. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in and find what they need.
