Shams Trading

You can find Shams Trading at Plot No. 1048 in Raviwar Peth. We are very close to the Chilla Masjid, which is a major landmark around this part of town. The streets in Raviwar Peth are always full of life and can be a bit chaotic during the day. Our place is not very large, but we make sure to use every single inch of space we have available. We have got bags and boxes stacked up nearly to the ceiling sometimes. It is a family business, and we have been at this same spot for many years now. We mostly sell things in bulk to other traders, but we never turn away someone who is just looking for a single item. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so moving heavy stock up and down is quite a workout for us. We do not have a big office or anything fancy like that. There is just a small wooden desk where we keep the books and the telephone. Every Friday it gets extra busy around here because of the prayers at the masjid. We usually close the shop for an hour during that time. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we enjoy the daily routine. We know all the other shopkeepers on the street and we look out for one another.
