Scientific Concentration Clinic And Research Centre

We are located over by Tarachandra Hospital near Shivaji Chowk in Narayangaon. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole name, Scientific Concentration Clinic And Research Centre, but that’s us. Narayangaon is a quiet enough place most of the time. Shivaji Chowk is the main landmark so nobody really gets lost trying to find us. We are tucked away near the hospital there. The building is simple. We have our research area and the clinic side. Most days it’s just us and the local patients. The morning starts with opening the shutters and letting some air in. You can hear the traffic from the chowk, mostly tractors and buses passing through. It’s a practical workspace. We have books and files stacked up in the research section. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we are always wiping down the desks. It isn't a high-tech looking lab from a movie. It’s just a room with some sturdy tables and chairs. We do our work, talk to the people who come in from the nearby villages, and keep our notes organized. People in Narayangaon know the Tarachandra Hospital area well, so we just became part of the scenery. We don't have a fancy waiting room. It’s just a couple of benches where people sit and wait their turn. It’s a steady pace here, nothing too rushed but always something to do.
