Sarwangi Designer Studio Llp operates out of Natekar Bungalow. We are located at Sr No. 103 in Atlas Colony, which is part of the Nehru Nagar area. If you know where Pragati School is, we are right near there. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which we like. The studio is based in a bungalow, so it feels a lot more personal than a typical office building. We do all our design work here. It is a place where we can actually think and get things made. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and wave while we are unloading materials. We have been in Atlas Colony for some time now. Most of our work involves sitting at big tables and figuring out how a garment should come together. It is not always glamorous, there are scraps of thread and paper everywhere most days. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. When you come to see us, you’re basically walking into our workspace. We take our work seriously but we don't act like we are better than anyone else. Being near Pragati School means we hear the kids at recess, which gives the place a nice feel. We are just a group of people who enjoy the process of designing clothes in a quiet corner of town. It’s a simple setup but it works well for what we need.
