Sanyog Engineers

B/46 Bhosari is where you will find us. It is a standard industrial block. We have been here long enough that the walls have that aged look. The shop is mostly taken up by the lathe machines and the welding area. We have a small corner with two chairs for visitors, but they usually end up standing. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving. We deal with a lot of local companies who need things turned or joined. It is steady work. We start the day by checking the machines and oiling the parts. There is a lot of metal shavings on the floor by noon. We sweep them up into a big bin. The tea stall around the corner is where we get our energy from. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. We just have our hands and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, which is just part of being in this area. We talk about the news and the weather while we wait for the lights to come back on. It is a basic engineering shop. We don't try to be anything else. We just work until the sun sets and then we lock up. The grease on the door handle never really comes off.
