Santhosh Engineering

Our shop, Santhosh Engineering, is over at Gat No. 953, Plot No. 4, right on the Pune-Nagar Road in Sanaswadi. It’s out in Tal Shirur, so it’s a bit of a drive for some, but there’s plenty of space for us to work. We’ve got a fairly large plot here which is good because some of the engineering pieces we handle are pretty big. The road outside is always busy with trucks and buses going back and forth between Pune and Nagar. Inside the shop, it’s mostly the sound of grinders and the occasional radio playing in the background. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Most people hear about us through word of mouth from someone else in Sanaswadi. We do general engineering work, mostly for the industries nearby. It's a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet all day. Some days the heat in the workshop is a bit much, but we have a few fans that help keep the air moving. We try to be fair with people and just do what we said we’d do. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it seems to work for us. We've been at this plot for years and we’ve seen the whole area grow up around us, yet we still just keep making things day by day.
