Our workshop is out in Chikhali, at Gat No. 1635. If you know the Vrudashram Road area in Ramdas Nagar, you’ve probably passed by our gate. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there is always the noise of welding or grinding somewhere nearby. We have been operating out of this space for a while now. The building is basic, just a sturdy shed where we keep the machines and the raw materials we use. Most mornings involve a lot of heavy lifting and getting the power tools ready for the jobs. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon months, which makes moving stuff in and out a real challenge. We mostly deal with local folks and other workshops around Chikhali. It’s the kind of place where you get grease on your hands within five minutes of walking inside. There isn't much of an office, just a corner with a small table and some old ledgers where we track everything. We take our tea breaks outside when the sun isn't too sharp on our heads. The work is steady, and we just focus on getting the measurements right on whatever piece of metal is on the bench that day. It’s not a corporate setup at all; it’s just a group of us who understand engineering and how to handle the equipment we’ve got. We stay busy with the day-to-day tasks and don't really worry about much else.
