Sankalp Engineering

You can find us at Gat No. 583, Plot 62/B in Jadhav Wadi, which is part of the Chikhlai area. Sankalp Engineering is a relatively small operation, but we stay busy enough. The yard around the building is often filled with scrap metal and various parts we are working on. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is. Chikhlai has a lot of these kinds of workshops, so there is always a sense of everyone just getting on with their business. We focus on mechanical work and some fabrication when it’s needed. The mornings usually start with a quick check of what needs to be delivered and what’s just coming in. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; usually, whoever is closest to the phone just picks it up. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we just throw down some gravel and keep going. We’ve been at this location for a while and have gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a good community of people who work with their hands. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth seems to work okay for us. We just want to do the work, handle the technical problems as they arise, and go home at the end of the day.
