Sangameshwar Engineers

Sangameshwar Engineers is based in Talwade, specifically at Gat No. 255/A in Jyotiba Nagar. This area is full of small workshops and engineering units like ours. Our shop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit a lot of equipment into the space over the years. We do a lot of machining and general repair work. You’ll see lathes and drills and various hand tools scattered across the workbenches at any given time. It is the kind of place where you have to watch your step because there might be an engine block or a pile of gears sitting on the floor. I have been working with my hands for most of my life, so the noise of a drill is just background music to me now. We take on jobs that require a bit of thinking and some steady hands to get right. The walls are stained with oil and there are calendars from three years ago still hanging up on the bricks. We don't bother much with the decor or how the place looks to outsiders. It is about the machines and getting them to do what they are supposed to do. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken part that they can't find a replacement for anywhere else, and we try to fix it or make a new one from scratch. We have a few guys working here who have been with us for years. We just keep our heads down and work.
