Samudra Electricals

We run Samudra Electricals out of a spot in the Kapila Housing Society. It's house number 22/B in the Gokhlenagar area of Pune. Our shop is full of wires, switches, and all sorts of electrical parts. It's not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time out on jobs, fixing wiring in houses or looking at broken appliances. When we're not out, we're here at the society, helping neighbors with their light fittings or water heaters. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us around. We’ve been doing this for years, and we’ve seen almost every kind of electrical problem you can think of. Sometimes we have to go out late when someone’s power goes out, but that’s part of the trade. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a practical workshop where we get things fixed. Most of our tools are old but they still work perfectly. We talk to people about what needs doing and give them a fair idea of the cost. No big sales pitches here. We just like fixing things and making sure everything is safe. Gokhlenagar is a good place to be, and the folks in the housing society are good neighbors. We’ve stayed busy just by word of mouth, which is how we like it. We’re just regular people doing a day’s work. Most of the time our boots are a bit dusty from the road, but we don't mind that much.
