Our office, Samsun Tours Pvt Ltd., sits in A-7 Shivsai Complex on Sinhgad Road. If you know the Anand Nagar area, we aren't too hard to find. It’s basically a small room filled with travel brochures, old maps, and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend most of our time looking up train timings, bus routes, and trying to find hotels that aren't overpriced for people. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to various agencies. People walk in asking about trips to the coast or up to the hills, and we sit down with them to figure out the dates and costs. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit while the pages load. We’ve been in this complex for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It’s not one of those big fancy travel hubs you see in the city malls. It is just a local spot where we help people figure out their travel plans without too much fuss. Sinhgad Road is always packed with traffic, so the noise from the bikes and cars is something we hear all day long. We keep some water and tea for anyone who drops by to chat about their next holiday. It’s simple work and we like getting everything sorted.
