Samrat Pav Bhaji & Juice Centre

Samrat Pav Bhaji & Juice Centre is our shop. We are over in Karve Nagar at Purushottam Society 36/2/1. If you know the society buildings, you know exactly where we are located. The big flat tawa is always hot and ready. We start our prep work early in the morning, chopping up onions and tomatoes for the day. The smell of the butter melting on the heat is how we know the work day has really started. Karve Nagar is a nice area with lots of families living around here. We get a lot of kids coming in for a glass of juice after their school is over. The juice machine makes a lot of noise, but nobody seems to mind it much. We have a few benches outside for people to sit on and some tables inside. It gets very tight in here when we are busy. We just keep serving the food as fast as we can. Purushottam Society is a landmark for most people in this part of town. We have been at 36/2/1 for a very long time now. The floor gets a bit greasy from all the cooking, so we have to mop it twice every day. We use big steel glasses for the juice. They are heavy and they keep the drinks very cold. Sometimes we run out of lemons or bread and someone has to run quickly to the market nearby. It is a busy life.
