Samarth Electroplating

Walking into Samarth Electroplating, the first thing you notice is the smell of the chemicals. We are based in the Rahul Udya Industrial Complex over in Bhosari. Specifically, we’re in Mirchi Galli, near Kalbadevi. It’s a tight spot with lots of other workshops around us. The floor is always a bit wet because of the tanks we use for the plating. It's not a place for nice clothes, that's for sure. I usually wear my old boots because they handle the spills better. There’s always someone moving crates around or checking the levels in the vats. The industrial complex gets pretty chaotic during the day with all the trucks coming in and out. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room for everyone, but we make it work. We've been at this location for years, so we know all the neighbors. We don't really have a big office or a front desk. If you need someone, you just have to yell over the sound of the pumps. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy parts and making sure the timing is right. We don't do any of that fancy marketing stuff you see online. We just do the electroplating and try to keep things moving. By the time we close up, everyone is pretty tired. But we’ll be back here tomorrow morning at the same time, ready to do it again in Bhosari. It's just what we do.
