Sakhi Varun Tours & Travels

Sakhi Varun Tours & Travels is located on Warje Tank Street. We’re pretty close to the Snehdip Complex, which is how most people find us. It’s a small shop, really. We spend our days looking at bus schedules, train tickets, and hotel bookings. People come in wanting to go on holiday or just needing to get to another city for work. We sit behind the counter and try to find the best routes. It’s a lot of typing and checking prices on the internet. The street outside is always noisy with people walking by. We’ve got a few posters of mountains and beaches on the walls, but they are a bit faded now. It’s just a family-run kind of place. Sometimes the kids are around after school doing their homework. We drink a lot of chai while talking to customers about where they want to go. Travel can be complicated with all the cancellations and changes, so we spend a lot of time on the phone. We don't have a big website or anything fancy. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. They know we’ll just tell them the truth about a trip and if it's worth it. It’s a modest setup. We have a couple of computers and a printer that jams sometimes when we're in a hurry. But we get the tickets printed. We’re just here to help.
