Sakaal Group Of Publications

Our office for Sakaal Group Of Publications is in building number 23, right in Sindhe Nagar in the Bavdhan area of Pune. It’s a pretty quiet spot on NDA Road, which is a nice change of pace from the city center. We’re just a small branch of the main group, focusing on our daily tasks without much fuss. The office is in Flat No. 4, so it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We have our computers set up and a few tables for meetings. Most of our day is spent talking to reporters or sorting out distribution details for the local area. It’s not a very fancy operation. We make our own tea and usually eat lunch together in the small kitchen area. We’ve been here in Bavdhan for a while now, and we know most of the people who live around the building. We don’t try to sound more important than we are. We’re just people who work in the newspaper business, making sure the news gets from the source to the reader's doorstep. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking and re-checking details. We don’t use big words or have complicated goals. We just want to do our jobs well so the paper goes out on time every single day. It’s a routine that we’ve grown to like, and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the birds outside on the balcony get louder than our office phones.
