Sakaal Group Of Publication has a spot here in Katraj, specifically in Flat No. C/102 of the Wonder City complex. It’s a well-known residential area in Pune, so finding us isn't usually a problem for people who know the city. The flat is on the first floor, which is convenient because we don't have to wait for the elevator. Working out of a residential complex like Wonder City gives the office a very different feel than being in a downtown skyscraper. It’s a bit more personal and less stiff. We have converted the main living area into our primary workspace with several desks pushed together. The kitchen still looks like a kitchen, though now it’s mostly just for making coffee and storing lunches. The rooms are used for different departments, though we all end up shouting to each other across the hallway anyway. Outside, you can see the kids playing in the common areas or people walking their dogs, which is a nice break from looking at a screen all day. The Pune weather is usually decent, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in. It’s a hardworking space, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. There are no polished marble floors here, just regular tiles and the sound of people getting the news ready. It’s a busy little hub in a big apartment complex and it stays that way most of the time during the week. That's about all for our Katraj setup.
