You’ll find Saishraddha Tours at number 19 in the Sangam Apartments on Sinhagad Road. We are located in the Anandnagar part of the road, which is a pretty active area with lots of people living nearby. We aren’t a giant travel agency with offices everywhere; it’s just this one spot where we help folks plan their trips. Whether someone wants to visit a nearby temple or head out for a longer vacation, we try to help them figure out the buses or cars. The office is small and usually has travel posters on the walls and piles of schedules on the desk. We started this because we liked traveling ourselves and thought we could help our neighbors get better deals or find better routes. It’s a lot of sitting at the desk and making calls to drivers or hotels. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to have a tea and talk to whoever stops by. We’ve lived in this Sinhagad Road area for a long time, so we know most of the people around here. We don't use any fancy booking software, just our notebooks and the computer to keep track of everything. It's a simple way of working but people seem to appreciate it. If you’re looking to go somewhere, you can just walk into the apartment office and we can chat about it. The Sinhagad Road traffic is usually pretty bad, so we appreciate it when people take the time to come visit us at the apartment. We don't have any brochures for fancy cruises, mostly just local tours and trips that regular families can afford. It’s a small operation and we handle everything from the booking to the final details ourselves. We’ve had the same desk and chairs for years, and the walls are covered in maps that we still use to show people where they’re going. It’s just a simple way to help people get a break from their daily lives.
