Sadanand Kadam

Sadanand Kadam is based out of Angul Lodge in the Shaniwar Peth area of Pune. If you know Pune, you know Shaniwar Peth is an old part of town with a lot of history and narrow lanes. Angul Lodge isn’t a fancy hotel or anything, it’s more of a traditional building where I’ve had my space for years. The rooms are basic, and the wooden stairs creak a bit when you walk up them. It’s a very local vibe. I don’t have a website or any big advertisements. People usually just find me because they know the area or someone told them I was here. My desk is near the balcony, and I can see the shops across the street. It gets pretty crowded during the festive seasons, but that’s just part of living in Pune. I keep my files in old metal cabinets and do most of my writing by hand before typing it up. It’s a slow, steady way of working. I don’t have any employees, it’s just me here. Sometimes the neighbor from the next room drops by for a chat and a cup of tea. It’s a simple life. I like the fact that everything I need is within walking distance. Shaniwar Peth has everything. If you’re looking for a polished office with air conditioning and marble floors, this isn't it. But if you want someone who just works hard and knows the neighborhood, I’m right here at the lodge.
