Sacred Travels

We’ve been here at Heramb Society for a while now, right near the Dashbhuja Ganpati temple and the Reliance Fresh. It’s a busy spot in Sahakar Nagar 2. Most days you’ll find us sitting at the desk handling calls or checking on the drivers. We deal with all sorts of travel plans, whether someone needs a car for a day or is looking to head out of Pune for a longer trip. It gets pretty hectic around the holidays, but that’s just how the travel business goes. People drop by the office to pick up their tickets or just to ask about the best routes. Sometimes the tea stall nearby is where we end up talking through the details of a booking. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and some chairs for people to wait. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much in the evenings, but it makes us easy to find if you're looking for us near Parvati. We try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It's mostly about making sure the cars are ready and the schedules are set. If a driver is late, we're the ones sorting it out. It's a simple operation, run by folks who live around here and know the streets. Nothing too complicated, just a local travel office doing its daily thing. We keep a stash of maps and some old water bottles in the corner for the long hauls.
