Sachin Engineering

At Sachin Engineering, we operate out of our space at Serve No- 10/3/2 in Mangdewadi, which is in the Katraj area. Most people know the spot because we are quite near the Poonam petrol pump. It is a handy landmark to give out when someone is trying to find us among all the other buildings around here. The shop itself is where all the engineering happens. We have the usual equipment you would expect for this kind of work. Every morning starts with a cup of tea before we get into the grease and the noise of the day. Katraj can get a bit crowded with traffic, especially near the petrol pump, but we are used to it by now. We take on various jobs that people bring in, sometimes it is small parts and other times it is something more complicated that takes a few days to figure out. There is nothing very polished about our setup. We just have our benches and our tools and a lot of scrap metal lying in the corners. It is a bit dusty and the floor is never really clean, but that is what happens when you are working with machines all day long. We just aim to finish the work that is on the floor so we can take on the next thing. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on for the handful of us who work here.
