S S Engineering Works

S S Engineering Works is situated in the 6th Block of the Bhosari Industrial Estate, at W 144. This is a real working man’s area. There is always the sound of machines running and the smell of metal and oil in the air. We aren't a fancy showroom; we are a workshop. Most of our days are spent at the benches or working with the equipment. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, and our clothes usually have a few grease stains by lunchtime. We’ve been in Bhosari for a long time now and we know how the industrial estate operates. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don't have a website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, someone just hears about us from another shop in the block and walks over to talk. We have a small office area tucked in the back where we keep the invoices and drawings, but most of the action happens on the floor. The floors are concrete and have seen a lot of heavy parts dragged across them. We keep the tools organized because that's the only way to get things done right. It’s a tough environment but it’s honest work. We just try to get the job finished without a lot of fuss. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a project, probably covered in dust and trying to hear each other over the noise of the drills or the sound of our neighbor’s hammer.
