S. R. P. Public High School

S. R. P. Public High School is situated near S. R. P. F. Gr. No. 7 on the Daund Kurkumbh Road. We are right there where the Baramati Daund Road meets. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for the families living near the S.R.P.F. grounds, we are the local high school. The area can be quite dusty and busy with traffic passing by on the main road. Our building is a sturdy one that has seen many years of students. We have teenagers coming in every day for their secondary education. It’s a loud place, especially when classes change and everyone is moving through the hallways. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. The focus is on the classrooms and making sure the teachers have what they need to talk to the students. We have a small playground area where the kids spend their lunch breaks. Sometimes the cows from nearby wander close to the gates, which is just part of being in this area. The staff lives mostly in Daund, so they know the community well. We spend our time grading papers, talking to parents, and making sure the school gates are locked at night. It’s just a plain, hardworking school for the local kids in the 413801 zip code area. We just keep doing our thing every day. There is always something that needs fixing, but we manage.
