S M Travels

Our office is over at 306 Shivaji Nagar on Telco Road. It is right in the Mohan Nagar area, quite close to Amit Court. If you are driving down Telco Road, you will probably see the sign. S M Travels has been running out of this spot for a while now. We have some cars parked nearby, though finding space on the street is always a headache. The office itself is nothing special to look at. Just a small room with a fan and a couple of chairs for people to sit while we talk about their trip. We do a lot of airport drops and local rentals. Shivaji Nagar is a central place so it makes sense for us to be here. Sometimes the traffic near Amit Court gets backed up and it takes forever to get the cars out into the main lane. I spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the drivers are. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong, like a flat tire or a late passenger. But we just deal with it as it comes. It's a practical business. We don't use any fancy apps, just a notebook to keep track of bookings. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but work comes first. Most of our regulars are from Mohan Nagar anyway. They just call me directly on my mobile when they need a ride.
