S M Tours & Travels is located over at 2 Bund Garden Road in Rangila Park. It is on Ghod Dod Road, right across from Sri Nathji Ice-Cream and quite close to Pune Central. Being in such a central spot means there are always people walking by or stopping in to ask about bus fares and tour packages. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough room for the desks and some benches. Across the street, the ice cream place gets really crowded in the evenings, which makes our bit of the road feel very lively. We spend our day looking at routes and trying to figure out the best timings for people who want to go out of town. The area near Pune Central is usually packed with cars and rickshaws, so it can be a bit of a struggle to find parking right in front of us. We have been here at Rangila Park for a while now. The office walls are mostly covered with some old maps and a calendar. It gets a bit warm in the summer, so the fan is always running at full speed. We take down details on paper first before putting them into the system. It is a lot of back and forth with customers who are planning their holidays or work trips. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the paperwork is done correctly for every traveler who walks through the door. It is a busy life on Bund Garden Road.
