Our office is tucked away in the C Wing of the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital. That is on the first floor, in the Sant Tukaram Nagar area of Pimpri. It is a big place, and if you aren't careful, you might get lost in the corridors. We have been working out of this hospital for a while now. The C Wing is usually humming with activity. We have our desks and our specialized equipment set up in the rooms assigned to us. It is a very clinical environment, as you would expect from a major hospital in Pimpri. We see a lot of different cases every day. The work is steady and there is always something to be done, whether it is checking on a patient or updating a chart. We don't have a big fancy lobby of our own, just the hospital's common areas. Our team is small but we have been together for a long time. We know the shortcuts through the building and where to get the best tea nearby. It is a practical life, working in a place like YCM. We don't put on any acts. We just show up, put on our coats, and get to work. The lights are always humming and there is always someone walking by the door. We just stay focused on what needs to happen during our shift.
