Started out here at Shiv Ganga Appt a while ago. It’s on the tenth floor of Ganga Vishnu Heigh, so the view of the surrounding streets is okay when the air is clear. We spend most of the day answering the phones and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It gets pretty loud downstairs with the traffic, but up here it is mostly quiet. We have a small desk and a few chairs for when people stop by to ask about trips. Usually, it's just us coordinating cars for people needing to get somewhere. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is good. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know the shortcuts and how to avoid the worst bottle-necks on the main road. The apartment complex is easy enough to find if you are looking for it. We keep a ledger of all the bookings and try to keep things organized. It is not a big fancy office, just a practical space where we work. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the phone to ring. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a climb. People know us as the local guys who help with travel stuff. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. We try to be on time, but sometimes the traffic has other plans.
