You can find Riya Holidays at 421, Kasba Peth, which is right near Zambre Chawdi in Pune. We’ve been sitting in this office for years, helping people figure out where they want to go for their breaks. It’s a small space, usually piled high with brochures and train schedules. People walk in from the street wanting to visit family or go see the mountains, and we just sit down and look at the dates with them. It gets quite loud outside since Kasba Peth is an old, busy part of town, but we're used to it. We handle a lot of the boring stuff like booking tickets and checking hotel availability so travelers don't have to deal with it themselves. Sometimes things get confusing with the bookings, but we usually get it sorted out by the end of the day. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, and we know most of the people who live in the surrounding chawls. We don't have a website that does everything automatically because we prefer just talking to folks. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or to see what the weather is like elsewhere. We stay open pretty late most nights. It’s just a regular travel shop in an old part of Maharashtra, doing what we can to help people get from one place to another without too much stress. The walls are covered in old posters of places we've sent people to over the decades. It's a simple life and we like the people we meet. It stays busy.
