Repute Engg. P.L. is located right in the Sanghvi Steel Compound in Mohan Nagarchinchwad. If you’ve been around Chinchwad, you know this part of town is all about industry. We occupy C-Wing 3&4. It’s a solid space, though it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of material coming in at once. The compound is always full of activity, with trucks moving in and out and people shouting over the noise of the machines. We’ve been here for a good while now. Our day usually starts with a quick meeting on the shop floor to see what’s pending. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don't wear suits or sit in fancy chairs. Most of the time, our clothes have a bit of grease on them by noon. The lighting in the back of the wing isn't the best, so we use portable lamps when we need to see the fine details. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much the fuel for the afternoon shift. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on the desk because we’d rather be out there fixing a machine or checking a part. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big HR department or a PR person. It’s just a group of us trying to get the engineering work right and making sure the parts we send out are what was asked for. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
