Bajirao Road in Yerwada is where we are located. It’s a very busy street with a lot of people moving around, and we are right in the middle of all that action. We serve fast food to people who are usually in a hurry to get back to work. Our kitchen is quite small, and when we are cooking over the stoves, it gets incredibly hot and smoky in there. We’ve been at this location for a long time, so we’ve seen the whole neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We don't have much space for people to sit down, maybe just a few metal stools near the front counter. Most of our customers just stand and eat or take their food back to their offices in a parcel. The menu is pretty straightforward, mostly things that can be cooked quickly on the griddle or in the deep fryer. We start our day by chopping big bags of onions and vegetables, which takes up several hours every morning. My brother handles the money and the orders while I do most of the cooking in the back part of the stall. It’s a loud place because of the exhaust fans and the constant sound of cars passing by outside. We don't do any marketing or have a social media page. People just know we are here because they see the steam. We try to keep the prices low for the local workers who come here daily.
