We've been over here at Shivaganga Apartments for quite some time now. Most people know the spot because it’s right across from S.N.D.T. College in Erandwane. It gets pretty busy on Carve Road, but we managed to find a quiet enough corner in apartment 2/10 to get our work done. Engineering is what we do, mostly technical stuff and setting things up for other businesses. It isn't always glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. The team is small, just a few of us who know the trade. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Usually, there are drawings spread out over the desks and parts sitting in the corner. If you’re coming to see us, just look for the college entrance and we’re right there on the other side. People ask why we picked this spot, and mostly it was just convenient. We spend our days troubleshooting and figuring out how to make things work better. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s just the sound of the fans running. It’s a job like any other, I guess. We try to be honest about what we can do. If a project is too big or just doesn't fit what we handle, we'll say so. We've seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. The traffic has definitely gotten worse. But inside the office, it's still just the same focus on the machines and the designs. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
