Rana Engineering

Rana Engineering is based in Mohapada, specifically near the Rasayan area. This is a very industrial part of the region, so there are always heavy trucks moving in and out with chemicals and various raw materials. You can usually smell the nearby factories when the wind blows a certain way. Our workshop is a basic structure where we handle all sorts of mechanical repairs and metal fabrication. It is not a pretty place to look at, but it is very functional for the work we do. I spend my mornings checking the machines and seeing what kind of jobs came in overnight. The roads around Mohapada are often a bit rough because of all the heavy vehicles, so getting parts delivered can sometimes take a bit longer than we like. We are right in the middle of the industrial belt, which is exactly where we need to be for this kind of engineering work. I have a few guys working with me who have been here since the day we opened the doors. We usually eat our lunch together in the small shaded area behind the main shed. It is a lot of sweat and hard work every single day. We do not use any fancy computer software; I just write everything down in a big blue ledger on my desk. If you need something welded or a pump fixed, you just bring it by the shop.
