Ramdeo Media is situated in Flat No - 502, B- Rohini - M, in the Wadgaon Dhayeri area of Pune. It’s a residential building, which makes for a pretty quiet and relaxed working environment compared to the busy city center. We’ve set up our media operations here because it’s convenient and feels more like a home than a stiff office. There are four or five of us usually working in the flat, surrounded by computers and a lot of cords. The view from the fifth floor is actually not too bad, looking out over the neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time editing and working on various media projects. Since we are in Wadgaon Dhayeri, we are a bit away from the main Pune buzz, which suits us just fine. Most days start with a quick check of the emails and then we just dive into whatever the current project is. We take turns making tea in the small kitchen, and lunch is usually something simple we order or bring. It’s an unpretentious way to run a business, and it works for what we do. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy reception area. If you came by, you’d just see a group of people working hard in a regular apartment. It’s a very straightforward, no-nonsense kind of life for us here, and we like the peace and quiet the location offers us.
