Rama Arts

Our shop, Rama Arts, is tucked away in the DSK Chintamani building over in Shaniwar Peth. We are at Shop Number 18. If you know the area, we are quite close to Appa Balwant Chowk, which is always buzzing with people looking for books or stationary. We are specifically on the 2nd cross near the Tata Silk Farm area. It is a busy part of town, especially in the afternoons when the students are out and about. The shop itself is not very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside the four walls of number 18. Sometimes the parking on the 2nd cross is a real headache, so most people just walk from the main road. Shaniwar Peth has that old city feel to it, with narrow lanes and a lot of history in the buildings around us. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but DSK Chintamani stays pretty much the same. The light in the shop isn't always the brightest, but we have some good lamps to help us see what we are doing. It is a simple life here, opening up in the morning and closing down when the sun goes behind the taller buildings. We are just around the corner from the main bustle, so it stays just quiet enough to get some work finished without too many distractions from the street outside.
