You can find us over in the Bhosarigoan industrial area, specifically at Survey Number 679 along the Hosur Road. We are based in the Basavwshwar building, which is right next to the Landewadi landmark. This is a real industrial zone, so there is always the noise of metal hitting metal and trucks backing up in the lanes outside. We focus on tools—making them, repairing them, and selling them to other workshops in the area. Our shop floor is filled with lathes, grinders, and all sorts of heavy hand tools. It is often a bit dusty and the floors are not exactly spotless, but that is how a tool shop usually looks when people are actually working. We started out small and have just kept at it over the years. Most of the guys working here have been with us for a long time and they really know how to handle the machinery. We do not spend money on fancy advertising; most of our work comes from people hearing about us from others in the industrial estate. It is a practical business without any frills. We deal with a lot of heavy iron and steel every single day. Sometimes the heat inside the building gets to be a bit much during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy with our orders. There is no big corporate board here, just a group of us trying to make sure the tools we produce are sturdy.
