Rajeshahi Travels

We are located right at the Hadapsar Nibm Road Junction near Vaid Wadi. It is a very loud and busy corner of the city. We have a small shop where we sell tickets and handle travel arrangements. You can always hear the sound of the traffic outside. We have a couple of benches for passengers who are waiting for their buses to arrive. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit but it keeps the air moving. We spend a lot of our time on the telephone. We have to check where the buses are and if they are stuck in traffic. Sometimes people get frustrated when the bus is late but that is just how the roads are these days. We have a lot of regular travelers who know us by name. We keep our schedules on a big board behind the counter. It isn't a fancy travel agency with brochures and posters everywhere. It’s just a functional place to get your seat booked. The evenings are the busiest because that is when most of the long-distance buses leave. We have to make sure everyone has their luggage and knows which bus is theirs. It can be a bit chaotic but we manage. We just keep the records in our books and try to make sure the buses leave on time. It's a lot of work but we are used to the pace.
