Rajeev Machine Tools. We are based in Shop No. 2 at Shanti Nagar in Landewadi. This part of town is full of small workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. Our shop is where we keep the lathes and the various machine tools we use. It smells like oil and coolants most of the time, which is just how a machine shop should be. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come in, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes covered in a bit of grease. We spend our time turning parts or sharpening tools for other local businesses. Landewadi is a hardworking area, and we fit right in. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We have racks of steel rods and drawers full of bits and bolts. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of being here. We take pride in just getting the job done without any fuss. It’s a simple life. We open the shutters in the morning and close them when the work is finished. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know where we are. We've been in Shanti Nagar for a long time. It feels like home to us now, even with all the noise and dust.
