Rajbhor Engineering Works

If you head out to Chikhlee, you’ll find us tucked away doing our usual engineering work. Rajbhor Engineering Works isn't a massive factory; it’s more of a local shop where we handle various jobs for people in the area. Chikhlee has changed quite a bit lately, with more shops opening up, but the day-to-day for us stays about the same. We start early to beat the heat, getting the machines warmed up and checking what materials we have in stock. The floor is usually covered with scraps of metal and shavings by noon, and we do a big sweep at the end of the day. It’s honest work, mostly just cutting, shaping, and joining metal as per the requirements. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here in Chikhlee. It can get pretty noisy when we are in the middle of a big project, but that’s just how a workshop sounds. We keep a simple setup with the basic tools we need. There’s always some heavy lifting involved, and the guys are used to the physical nature of the job. We take our breaks together, usually sitting on whatever stools or crates are nearby, before getting back to the machines. It is just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for the local market here, day in and day out.
