Raj Travel World

Raj Travel World is our small travel business here in Pune. We are located at number 19, and we’ve been around since about 2006. Our area code is 411038. It’s a small office, nothing too fancy. We spend our days looking up flights and sorting out train tickets for people in the neighborhood. Travel can be a real mess sometimes with all the cancellations and changes, so we spend a lot of time on the phone trying to get things sorted for our customers. Rafiq is usually the one handling the emails. We use a Yahoo account for most of our stuff because it's what we’ve always used and it works fine for us. People come in to ask about holidays or just to get a ticket to see their family in another city. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how the booking systems work. Pune has changed a lot since we started in 2006, but people still need to get from place to place. We don't do big advertisements or anything. Most people just know us from around the area or their cousin told them to come here. It’s a simple life, sitting behind the desk and trying to find the cheapest prices for folks. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait, but usually, we get it done. We’re just a local travel shop trying to help out. It's good to see people finally taking trips again.
