Puneet Engineering

Puneet Engineering is based out of Bhosari, specifically at 115/3. We are right in the middle of the industrial belt. The shop is basically a large shed with a couple of heavy machines and a lot of scrap metal lying around. We handle fabrication and various engineering tasks for other businesses. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of grinding and welding going on most of the day. I started this place a long time ago. We don't have a front office or a receptionist. If the phone rings, I usually have to turn off a machine to hear it. Our work is practical and mostly involves fixing things or making small parts from steel and iron. It’s hot in here during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just me and a couple of workers who know their way around a lathe. We take the jobs that come in, whether they are small repairs or bigger fabrication projects. Everything we do is done by hand or with our old machines. Bhosari is full of shops like ours. We just do our part and try to finish the work on time. It’s not glamorous, and our boots are always covered in metal shavings. We just like building things and solving mechanical problems for the people who come to us at 115/3.
